How much does porta potty rental cost in East Los Angeles?
Price depends on the unit and how long you keep it. A standard porta potty rental is the cheapest way to cover a crew or a backyard party. If you want the deluxe flushable porta potty, the nice porta potty with a foot pump and a sink, you pay more per day. Here are the measured bands.
| Unit | Day | Week | Month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 100-350 | 130-500 | 125-325 |
| Deluxe flushable | 85-1200 | 150-290 | - |
| ADA accessible | 200-400 | 120-240 | - |
Weekend rates sit apart from these. A standard unit over a weekend runs about 250 dollars. Delivery is billed on top. See the full cost breakdown or the per-day pricing if you only need it a short stretch. For long jobs, the monthly rental page shows how the rate drops. When you know what you want, request a quote.
What kind of porta potty should I rent?
Match the unit to the job. A construction crew is fine with a standard portable toilet, sometimes called a porta john. A wedding or a nicer event calls for a portable restroom with flushing, or a step up to a luxury restroom trailer. The fancy porta potty options run from the deluxe single unit to a full restroom trailer rental with real sinks and lights.
A standard unit is about 44 by 48 inches on the ground and stands about 92 inches tall, so plan your placement. The placement guide covers clearance and ground. If you have wheelchair users, ADA Standards section 213.2 says at least 5 percent of clustered units, never fewer than one, must be accessible. Rent the ADA accessible porta potty and read the ADA restroom requirements. Not sure how many? Use the how many do I need guide.

Do I need a permit to place a porta potty in East Los Angeles?
On your own property, usually not. On a private lot in East Los Angeles you place the unit where you like, as long as the service truck can reach it. Placement in the public right of way, a sidewalk or a street, needs confirming with the city first. We do not file that for you and we name no rule here, because those rules differ and we will not guess. Check the permit requirements page and call the city before you set a unit on public ground.
For dumpsters the same caution applies. A roll-off in the street may need a permit, so read the dumpster permit requirements. Our porta potty rental checklist walks you through the questions to answer before delivery day. If you are new to how these units work, the how do porta potties work page explains the tank and the deodorizer.

How often does a porta potty get cleaned?
Once a week is the baseline. ANSI/PSAI Z4.3 sets one service visit per week for up to 10 users over a 40 hour week, and East Los Angeles Porta Pros holds to that. Heavier use means more visits. We pump the waste, refill the paper and deodorizer, and hose the interior. The cleaning schedule page has the detail, and the do porta potties smell page explains why regular service keeps odor down.
On a construction site the count matters as much as the cleaning. OSHA 1926.51(c)(1) requires one toilet for 20 workers or fewer, then a toilet and urinal per 40 workers above that. The OSHA requirements page lays out the ratios. If your crew is applying paints, coatings, herbicides or insecticides, OSHA 1926.51(f)(1) requires washing facilities, so add a handwashing station. See what handwashing rules apply.

How much does a porta potty rental cost near me?
A standard unit runs about 150 dollars a day in East Los Angeles, less per day on a weekly or monthly plan, with a delivery fee on top. Deluxe and ADA units cost more. See the cost page for the full bands and request a quote for your address.
What is included in a standard porta potty rental?
Delivery, pickup and weekly service. Each visit we pump the 60 to 70 gallon tank, restock paper and refresh the deodorizer. Extra cleanings are available for high-traffic sites. The standard rental page lists everything, and how do porta potties work explains the tank.
Do you rent luxury or flushable units?
Yes. The deluxe flushable porta potty has a foot-pump flush and a hand sink. For a wedding or gala, step up to a luxury restroom trailer or a 2 stall restroom trailer with real fixtures. Trailer pricing sits on the trailer cost page.
How many toilets do I need for my crew?
OSHA 1926.51(c)(1) wants one toilet for up to 20 workers, then one toilet and one urinal per 40 workers past that. The how many do I need guide does the math for events too, and the OSHA page covers the code.
Can I add handwashing or a dumpster to my order?
Yes. Add a portable sink or a hand sanitizer station, and for debris a roll-off dumpster or a 10 yard dumpster. A roll-off delivery needs about 60 feet of straight clearance behind the truck. See the dumpster sizes page.
